Clear Control began in 2018 with a simple idea \u2013 that lighting can be both technically precise and artistically expressive. Founder Dene\u202fWeslake assembled a small team of designers, engineers and programmers to deliver custom LED solutions that didn\u2019t exist in the Australian market at the time. Early projects combined architectural lighting, signage and colour\u2011changing installations, establishing a reputation for creativity and reliability.<\/p>

The company quickly evolved from a niche start\u2011up into a trusted partner for complex projects. Clear Control\u2019s expertise in lighting design, custom fixtures and advanced control systems attracted architects, councils and developers across Australia. Today, the business is based in Sydney and is the exclusive distributor for LEDCTRL in Australia and New\u202fZealand, providing end\u2011to\u2011end support for lighting hardware, software and integration. This partnership allows Clear Control to deliver cutting\u2011edge control technology alongside locally designed fixtures.<\/p>

Beyond commercial work, Clear Control is committed to cultural projects that enrich communities. For example, Burwood Council engaged Clear\u202fControl as the lighting supplier for the Ford Lane Murals Project, a public art initiative that uses programmable lighting to animate murals and transform a laneway into an immersive cultural space.       A key part of our expertise lies in control systems. We build dynamic, LED solutions that offer pixel\u2011level control for vivid animations and precise colour management. For projects like the Burnley Tunnel pacemaker lighting (Melbourne) and the Tumbalong Stage (Sydney), we integrated custom software and LEDCTRL hardware to deliver responsive lighting sequences that enhance traffic flow and live performances. We design plug\u2011and\u2011play hardware and write custom firmware to streamline installation and simplify operation; for example, the 1\u202fO\u2019Connell Street spire and the Marvel Stadium sky sign both use modular LED neon components cut to length and labelled for rapid assembly. Our team also provides on\u2011site commissioning, training and ongoing technical support to ensure seamless handover and long\u2011term success.<\/p>

      We have proven experience across a wide range of applications, including architectural landmarks, large\u2011scale signage, fa\u00e7ade lighting and public art. We reimagined Sydney\u2019s Coca\u2011Cola sign with 17,880 RGBW pixels controlled via LEDCTRL software, reducing its power consumption by 60\u202f% while enabling dynamic displays for events. At UNO Apartments in Green Square, we supplied and programmed 1,335 individual LED pixel PUX to create a low\u2011resolution screen that shows moving artwork. For the 49\u2011storey Vizcayne Towers in Miami, we installed over one kilometre of pixel LED neon, transforming the skyline for the 2020 Super Bowl with custom animations. Each project demonstrates how our mastery of fixtures, control systems and software can turn complex lighting challenges into seamless, innovative solutions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
